Pharmaceutical Sales $ 70 K Base On Up (Doe) + Comm Job Description
Minimum of 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biologics/biotech or medical device sales experience with a minimum of 2 years selling specialty products to physicians preferred.
Heavy relationship territory. Candidate must already have the necessary selling skills in place as this is a “who do you know” territory or how quickly can you get to know them”.
Key Markets: Indianapolis, Lafayette, Fort Wayne, South Bend, Benton Harbor – MI
Key Systems: IU Health, Ortho Indy, Methodist Hospital, Community Health
Profile: Very consolidated market, needs to be very experienced, penetration to the group and clinical knowledge important
Need Ortho / HA experience.This is an innovative product. We will consider injectable and buy and bill (with hospital experience). Must have contacts!
Previous athletes, ROTC or other Drive type qualifications are preferred.
Seasoned representatives with experience selling to Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, and/or Rheumatologists. Large account experience is preferred but not a requirement. Previous device sales, DME, or specialty pharmaceutical experience helpful. Must be great at networking themselves and others. Previous sales success is critical. Success in Orthopedics, and most preferably with the Key Accounts in this territory,
Experience selling and managing accounts in the hospital, VA and ambulatory care centers with established relationships preferred.
Solid working knowledge of managed care and J Code reimbursement systems. Experience with Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Physiatrists, Oncology and Specialty Biologics markets preferred.
Ability to secure new accounts and expand existing account sales. Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Base Salary $70 K Base on up (DOE) +Comm( 6 Figure earning potential) plus

Must be willing to travel over a relatively large geography which will include daily and overnight travel.
